
The Orange County Taiwanese American Chamber of Commerce was established in California in 1981. Its predecessor was the Formosan Chamber of Commerce in Orange County. In 1993, it was renamed the Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce in Orange County, abbreviated as TCCOC. The Chamber has also obtained the federal non-profit business organization 501(c) (6) status and has been serving the Orange County community in California for over 40 years. Under the leadership of successive presidents, the Chamber has grown and prospered, providing members with a platform for networking and business development. Members are entrepreneurs, professionals, and business executives from all walks of life who have achieved success in their respective fields, including doctors, lawyers, bankers, investment and financial advisors, home care, real estate development, hotel operators, construction, restaurants, and commercial lending.
As one of the founding regional chambers of commerce of the Federation of Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce in North America, the Gan County Taiwanese American Chamber of Commerce also actively participates in various affairs of Taiwanese chambers of commerce in North America and around the world, and holds important positions.
In line with its mission of carrying on the past and ushering in the future, TCCOC established the Young Entrepreneurs Committee (TJCCOC) in 2018 to encourage young first- or second-generation Taiwanese in Orange County, California to actively participate in business affairs and provide experience sharing.
